(WASHINGTON, DC) October 3, 2024 – On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will host its 25th annual Washington, DC Gala Benefit, celebrating the renowned Company’s season of Legacy in Motion during a week-long engagement at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, February 4–9, as part of a coast-to-coast US tour. Following a 7:30pm performance on the Opera House Stage by Ailey’s extraordinary dancers, prominent figures in entertainment, business, philanthropy, and politics will gather for dinner and dancing at the Kennedy Center.

Gala Benefit celebrates the renowned Company’s week-long engagement – February 7-13, 2023 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts during a coast-to-coast North American tour. Following the 7pm performance on the Opera House Stage – culminating with Alvin Ailey’s masterpiece Revelations – Artistic Director Robert Battle will join prominent figures in the worlds of entertainment, business, philanthropy, and politics for dinner and dancing at the Kennedy Center for the first time since 2020.
