Originating from the sandy grounds of Senegal, West Africa, this class expands on the traditional sabar movement by incorporating expression that uses every part of the body, from your arms to your feet. Sabar consists of combinations that are less weighted to the ground than other styles, and includes a lot of hip twisting, jumping, arm swinging and high knee lifting. Sabar classes are highly energetic, making it a great form of exercise. Live sabar drumming in every class.
