Elisa Clark

(Brandywine, MD) received her early training from the Maryland Youth Ballet and earned her B.F.A. from The Juilliard School under the direction of Benjamin Harkarvy. She was a founding member of Robert Battle’s Battleworks Dance Company from 2001 to 2006, where she also served as company manager. In addition, Ms. Clark was a member of the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, as well as a dancer at the Metropolitan Opera, where she worked with Crystal Pite, among others. She has assisted Mr. Battle on several commissions, including Juba and Love Stories. As a teacher, Ms. Clark has been on faculty at the American Dance Festival, taught numerous master classes throughout the nation and abroad, and worked closely alongside Carolyn Adams. She is a 2008 Princess Grace Award winner. Ms. Clark joined the Company in 2013.
