Christopher R. Wilson

CHRISTOPHER R. WILSON (Augusta, GA) began his dance training at Cutno Dance Center and continued his studies at the Augusta Ballet School. He is a graduate of John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and is currently a senior in the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program in Dance. Mr. Wilson has attended summer programs at Alonzo King LINES Ballet as well as The School at Jacob's Pillow and has danced with BHdos, the second company of Ballet Hispanico. He has performed works by choreographers Matthew Rushing, Kyle Abraham, Emily Molnar, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Eduardo Vilaro, Stefanie Batten Bland, and Nicholas Villeneuve. This is his first season with Ailey II.

Ailey II's First Independent New York Season At The Joyce Theater

Ailey II’s “indefatigable, virtuosic, and relentlessly sexy” dancers (Los Angeles Times) return to The Joyce Theater from March 17 – 22 with two programs of premieres and recent audience favorites. The Company’s spring run at The Joyce will be the first time they will present an independent season at one of dance’s most cherished and historic venues.
